Petrol Market Analyst
PetrolPrice.xyz is building the real-time data layer for fuel prices across Asia-Pacific and beyond. We track petrol movements across countries, stations, and fuel types - turning fragmented pricing into structured, usable intelligence.
We are looking for a Petrol Market Analyst to own our data, insights, and market coverage. You are responsible for making our platform accurate, timely, and useful. You don’t just collect data - you interpret it, challenge it, and turn it into something valuable.
This is not a passive research role. You are the person ensuring our data is trusted and our insights are sharp.
You will manage multiple markets simultaneously. When data looks off, you investigate. When gaps exist, you fill them. When patterns emerge, you surface them before anyone asks.
Key Responsibilities
- Own petrol price data across assigned markets
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all data
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and market trends
- Turn data into clear insights and usable outputs
- Work with engineering to improve data systems and automation
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple markets with high accuracy
- Comfortable with data tools (spreadsheets, APIs, basic automation)
- Proactive and clear communicator
Nice To Haves
- Interest in the oil & gas + tech industry
- A go-getter mindset; proactive and entrepreneurial
- Experience in data analysis, market research, or commodities
- Comfortable using tools like Claude, Cursor, and Google Workspace
- Experience working with real-time or frequently changing datasets
Compensation
Project-based compensation up to USD 12,600 per year, depending on scope and output.

Meme General
PetrolPrice.xyz is building the real-time data layer for fuel prices across Asia-Pacific and beyond. We also want the brand to feel alive — fast, sharp, and culturally fluent.
We are looking for a Meme General to manage our social presence and lead meme creation end-to-end: ideation, production, posting cadence, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own social media strategy and day-to-day execution across X and other channels as we expand
- Lead meme creation: concept, writing, visuals, and rapid iteration
- Translate fuel price moments, data insights, and news into shareable content
- Build and maintain a consistent posting cadence
- Engage with the community: replies, threads, DMs, and collaborations
- Track performance and refine content based on what resonates
Required Qualifications
- Strong taste and intuition for internet culture and memetic formats
- Excellent copywriting and concise communication
- Comfortable designing simple visuals (Canva/Figma) and/or basic video edits
- Self-directed, fast execution, and high ownership
Nice To Haves
- Experience growing an account from 0 → 10k+ organically
- Comfortable working with data, maps, and light product narratives
- Experience with scheduling tools and basic content ops
